Adsense has released a new type of advertisement for publishers, video ads. These give customers full control over whether to play them or not. What do I think of them? For most of us, I think they are useless. There may be a very small number of us that may be able to use them because the products being sold are very close to our site content. I am not putting them on any of my sites. But experiment, if you think they may work for you, give them a try for a week. Best of luck everyone!
Many bloggers overlook the importance of good reader relations. Much of the money generated can be from a handful of readers that consistently keep returning to you site. What does this mean? Make your e-mail address available to your readers, respond to their comments, and answer any questions they may have. You would be surprised with the difference that this makes.
